Elder Gregory David Robertson Sr. is a man after God's own heart. Elder Robertson has been on his spiritual journey for many years. He gave his life to Christ at a young age at Mt Zion Way of the Cross Church, under the leadership of Bishop Robert B Fuller, according to Acts 2:38. Also under his leadership, he was ordained a deacon in 1982 (I Timothy 3:8-13) and has held many positions such as drummer, tenor for the choir and Mighty Clouds of Zion, as well as a member of the Finance Committee to name a few.
Elder Robertson is a native of Danville, Virginia. He is a charter member of Progressive Prayer Temple in Martinsville, VA, where Bishop Milton Johnson serves as the pastor. There he strengthened his prayer life through lock-ins, radio call-ins for prayer and prayer conferences. After relocating to North Carolina, he and his family moved their membership to Saint Matthew Apostolic Church on November 23, 1992. He continued in prayer ministry and teaching Sunday School.
Under Bishop Lowery’s leadership, Elder Robertson was elevated to Minister, preaching his initial sermon
January 7, 2001. He was later elevated to the office of Elder. Before the St. Matthew congregation, Bishop passed the mantle and gave Elder the charge of Assistant Pastor. Elder Gregory Robertson currently serves as the Pastor of St. Matthew Apostolic Temple Church of Jesus Christ, Inc and the Interim Executive of the Deacons and Brothers Auxiliary of the Apostle Church of Christ in God.
Elder Robertson is the son of Mother Alberta Robertson. He is happily married to Lady Virginia Robertson, his bride of 36 years, and their union has been blessed with three wonderful children. Many things can be said about Elder Gregory Robertson, but the most important, is his strong relationship with God and his love for the people of God.
